The Orleans Parish Senior Expo, held at the UNO Lakefront Arena, welcomed people from across Orleans Parish on April 20th. The event, which was sponsored in part by Christopher Homes, came complete with presentations from local and state leaders as well as a talent show. Former WWL-TV anchor Sally-Ann Roberts also spoke to the seniors at the event.

Those who attended the expo were given information about local health and housing services as well as information about benefits. 

The exhibtors also supplied attendees with bags, water bottles and magnifiers among other items. Lunch was served to exhibtors and attendees.

This is the 19th year for the event.
